Fuel Technology was incorporated in 1982 and specialises in developing, manufacturing and marketing industrial products designed to assist large fuel users improve fuel combustion efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and thus reduce operational costs.

Combustion enhancing chemistry in the form of a fuel catalyst was originally imported from North America. Following studies conducted by Fuel Technology Pty Ltd, in co-operation with the Department of Process Engineering – Curtin University, the active component was modified and a concentrate was produced to Australian specification in North America. Final product blending was carried out in Australia.

Subsequently, the company initiated research and development by both Monash University and private consulting chemists, Sharp & Howells to produce an improved product and manufacturing process. The FPC range of combustion catalysts are now completely manufactured in Australia. Fuel Technology Pty Ltd hold world wide patents for their production.

Products and services provided to major fuel consuming industries include fuel consumption and emission measuring systems and fuel treatment systems. These systems are supported by an engineering organisation whose members have extensive experience in mining, marine and technology industries.

Fuel Technology Pty Ltd have been reducing their customers' operational costs since 1982.
